Apparently, the Republicans and the Democrats came to some sort of agreement to keep the government running.
On a side note, this is decent news. I’m glad we will have a functioning government. (Or what passes for one, anyway).
On the other hand, the Government Shutdown Party I was going to host has been cancelled for obvious reasons.
The beer and wine coolers will go back into the fridge for the next time the two parties decide to ramp up the fear in this country.
Ah well.
