I got this idea from Skatha over at Complex Woman. I’d thought I start doing this as well. So here goes.
I collect superhero action figures.

All kinds? Some friends I have in California have a massive Star Wars collection. The son (now deceased) started collecting them and never removed them from the packaging. They were then afixed to his bedroom wall. Think they have Spiderman too.

Primarily I collect the Marvel Legends series from Toy Biz. I collected Star Wars toys for many years, though. Regrettably, I played with mine and lowered their value a great deal. Same with my G.I. Joe’s (th Hasbro line, not the original 12″ ones from the 1950’s.)
More recently, when Phantom Menace came out, I picked up the entire line of figures. These are still in the packaging and will remain in the packaging.

A child is not going to appreciate the value of a toy kept in a box. 😛
